Meet The Team
About Adam
Adam was born in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands and went on to study Marketing, French and Spanish at a London University. Upon graduation in 1996, he left for the Costa del Sol to pursue a career in marketing. In 1998 he got into the real estate industry and was Marketing Director for some of the biggest names in the property market at that time.
From 2009 to 2017 Adam worked for himself successfully selling, managing and letting property along the coast whilst increasing his knowledge of the wider Costa del Sol market.
In 2018, Adam was asked to come on board at Windsor and form a team that would eventually take over the business and lead it through its next life cycle.
“I have lived in the Mijas Costa area for 25 years and love everything about it – Golf courses, beaches, mountain walks, beach bars and restaurants. It literally has all you need and I certainly won’t be leaving Mijas any time soon. Maybe never!”
Adam is married to Pippa and they have one teenage son who goes to school in La Cala.
About Ian
Ian was born in Edinburgh and on leaving school in 1990 decided to pursue a career in the assurance and pension industry with Standard Life. In 1999 Ian joined Standard Life Bank and later that year left to join a new start up bank called Intelligent Finance. Whilst working here Ian met Amanda and a relationship blossomed. Amanda’s parents lived in La Cala and ran Windsor Consultants, together with their business partners, Simon and Geraldine.
In 2006 Ian and Amanda married at the church in La Cala de Mijas and whilst on honeymoon discussed the possibility of moving to La Cala to join the Windsor team. In 2008, together with their four month old son, Ian and Amanda moved to Spain from Edinburgh and Ian started working at Windsor Consultants. Initially managing the insurance and tax side of the business, Ian also became part of the sales team and has never looked back.
“I am very lucky to call Mijas Costa my home. It is very easy to see why so many people from so many different countries want to buy a property in what is definitely one of the most beautiful parts of the world. I love living here and have no intention of changing that.”
Ian and Amanda divorced in 2021, however they maintain a good relationship as they co-parent their four children who all attend the local Spanish schools in Mijas Pueblo.
About Amanda
Amanda was born in Hong Kong to British parents, Neil and Rowena Moore, the founders of Windsor Consultants. Her paternal grandparents had a house in Benalmádena from the late 60s. Her family would holiday there from Hong Kong until making the move to live in Spain themselves in 1984.
Amanda was educated in Spain, at boarding school in Eastbourne, England and studied Law at The University of Edinburgh. Upon graduating Amanda practiced as a solicitor in Scotland for 11 years specialising in commercial banking before returning to Spain with her husband Ian and baby son Xavier in 2008.
Amanda branched into administrative law and private client practice on her return to Spain and specialises in writing Spanish Wills for foreign clients.
As part of the Windsor team, Amanda is the company administrator and attends to book keeping, account management, tax and legislative requirements.
“Spain is home. I knew I wanted to return to raise my family here in the sunshine, making memories on the beaches and in the Sierras.”
Amanda and Ian’s four children attend local schools in Mijas Pueblo and are bilingual.
About Claire
Claire was born in Manchester and lived there until 2000. For the past 23 years she has called Mijas her home, soaking in the vibrant Spanish way of life.
In 2022, she embarked on a new chapter, joining the team at Windsors in La Cala in a beautiful setting with great people.
She takes care of the holiday rentals side of the business, liaising with our owners and overseeing the bookings and ensuring our guests have a fabulous time.
She has a teenage son and a four legged furry friend, who she loves to walk in the mountains with. When not looking after Jax the Spaniel, Claire loves going to the beach with a good book.
“Life here is pretty good and I consider myself very lucky to have a perfect blend of family, work and the sun kissed shores of Spain.
